UW Neurology Clinics

UW Health neurologists offer comprehensive consultation, evaluation and treatment of neurological disorders in adults and children. Clinical neurophysiology services are also available.

Neurology includes diagnosing and managing numberous neurological disorders including:

epilepsy, movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, ms, muscular dystrophy and other muscle diseases, motor neuron disease, peripheral neuropathies, stroke, chronic pain disorders, sleep disorders, cancer affecting the nervous system, swallowing disorders, Alzheimer's disease, spine and disc diseases, headache, tremor, dystonia, deep brain stimulation

Diagnostic services provided by neurologists include electroencephalography, electromyography and evoked potentials (visual, auditory and somatosensory). Patients with neurological diseases may be evaluated with neuro-imaging techniques (MRI, CT, X-ray and positron emission tomography carotoid duplex scanning (Doppler)).
